Wake N' Rake

Spring has Sprung and our WakenRake Volunteer Clean-ups are back starting this Saturday the 30th. Come to The Historic Harsimus Cemetery anytime after 9 am to help with a variety of fresh air tasks for any shade of Green Thumb. Mechanically minded persons can mow lawns and weed-whack the grounds while others can take it a quieter pace by raking, pruning, potting and cleaning the cemetery. We welcome all volunteers who can spare a couple of hours towards the maintenance and preservation of our treasured Jersey City Landmark. We will supply the gloves, equipment, and bug spray. Volunteers should wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants with closed-toe outdoor shoes or boots, along with a hat for sun protection. If you have questions contact Dancing Tony at 973-219-9696.
